Back in 2024, it felt like the Los Santos music industry had lost its way. We saw so many talented people get pushed to the side just because they didn't fit into a corporate box. We knew something had to change because the old way of doing things simply wasn't working for the artists.
The spark for Southside came when our founder, Coral Cortez, finally walked away from her former label. Between the missed payments and the empty promises, she'd had enough of the corporate games. She wanted to start a wave that would actually change how the industry treats its talent.
For us, everything comes back to freedom of expression. We believe the music business should support the people who actually make the music, not just the people sitting in offices. That is why we focus on giving independent artists the resources they need to thrive on their own terms.
We are here to make sure no one gets left behind or forgotten. Whether an artist is signed or staying independent, we want to provide the support system we wish we had from the start. To us, it is about the music and the people behind it, period.
